Under 7 blues

 Formed in September 23, Brooklands U7s Blues are delighted to be entered in the Colchester and District Youth League playing their first season in Non-Competitive Grassroots Football.

With 15 years of experience working within Secondary Schools PE departments, Sam Horsewill is now managing and coaching this enthusiastic group of children. Sam is assisted by Andy Lord, a coach of many years’ experience ranging across a cohort of age groups and teams.

The aim of the team is to develop their technical skill and game understanding whilst having fun through short activities. During training sessions, the players will spend most of their training time with a ball at their feet, improving their confidence and competence in both uncontested and contested situations.

The teams understanding of football has come on greatly since their first game, and we look forward to them developing their passion further.
