Brooklands Youth U16 Girls trials for season 2025/26.

Brooklands FC are excited to welcome an U16 team for the 2025-2026 season.

The team is formulated of a selection of girls from Stanway Rovers Infernos, who have just secured promotion to the Essex A league.

With this promotion comes exciting changes, and an opportunity to welcome in a number of new players, to create and shape a new team. 

This is an inspiring new chapter and the chance to be part of something truly special.

Brooklands FC is building a dedicated women’s pathway, designed around the needs, ambitions, and potential of our players. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a supportive, forward-thinking environment where girls of all ages can develop, thrive, and dream big.

Our vision is to lead from the front—creating a nurturing space where girls not only grow as players, but are also supported through any challenges they may face off the pitch. It’s about more than football; it’s about building confidence, community, and opportunity.

As we grow, our older players will also play a key role in inspiring the next generation—becoming role models for the younger girls already joining the club and helping to create a lasting, positive culture.

Location: Phillip Morrant, Colchester.

Timing: 7pm to 8.30pm on a Tuesday.

This will be run by Brooklands Youth Coaches. UEFA and DBS qualified.
