Chris Grass has a wealth of experience; having played for military teams throughout his career, including various civilian teams in the UK and abroad, he has turned his hand to coaching to ‘give back’ to the system that very much helped him grow as a person.
Having gained his qualifications, Chris has been successfully coaching since 2018 and has been ably supported by a wealth of experience with Lee Cook and James Woodhurst - both qualified and DBS.
This talented group is a combination of players who have come together, in groups, from teams in and around Colchester and Tendring District. Parents and children drawn together because they understand the importance of ensuring children are developed correctly, and playing football as a team.
This particular group is highly motivated with an ambition to learn and grow as a collective.
The team has a simple ethos; life skills are developed and gradually adopted, rather than simply taught and learnt.
We focus on what children can be, not what they are right now. As such the team has a simple approach and philosophy:
Helping children to navigate the challenges in life by focusing on the five Cs:
Communication, Commitment, Challenge, Character, Connection.
If your child has previous playing experience and wishes to join a team competing and aspiring to be playing in the top division, please request to get in contact with the Manager, Chris Grass.
